How does it work?

Journalists are invited to join our online podcasting community (through our WhatsApp Community). From there they have access to our group sessions in investigative podcast creation that cover narrative, writing and editing.

We encourage journalists to produce their series in their own languages, as well as English.

We have a resource library and YouTube training channel to help teach as many journalists the skills of investigative podcast creation as possible.

This is based on our founding principles of diversity, equity and inclusion for our continent’s audience. In Africa, radio retains the widest geographical reach and the largest audiences. Access to audio (whether in radio, social media or podcast form) remains relatively convenient, through phones or small radio sets.

We are creating a global movement of investigative podcast reporters that are encouraged to create awareness around their issues.
